Toast is a Peer-to-Peer money transfer application that facilitates the remittance process of sending money home from Hong Kong and Singapore to the Philippines. Through the use of a smartphone, customers are able to access bank account to bank or account and bank account to cash money transfer services.
In order to register for the service, customer needs to price proof of ID such as identity card, employment pass or work permit, in case the ID does not have address on it customer will also need a proof of address not older than 3 months such as employment agreement, bank, phone or utility statement.
For the Philippines, the following IDs are supported: Electoral ID, Unified Multi Purpose ID, Postal ID, Social Security System Card (SSS). For Hong Kong, the following IDs are supported: National ID, Resident Permit ID and the following documents as proof of address are supported (not older than 3 months): Utility bill, Telecommunications/ mobile bill statement, a letter from a Hong Kong employer together with proof of employment or domestic helper employment contract stamped by an appropriate consulate within the employment period, and a copy of the visa endorsement.
